Started the day by finalising the results of a customer network assessment from earlier in the week. Identified some simple steps to improve security and stability. |

Went over notes for this lunchtime’s seminar with Cisco and Lancope on the benefits of using NetFlow for network behaviour anomaly detection. |

Interrupted by a support escalation from the Operation Centre team. A client has issue with their IPS which is causing some legitimate traffic to be dropped. Logged on remotely, tuned out the offending false positive, and scheduled some additional training for the client. |

The seminar: presentations went well and received good feedback over lunch. One attendee suffering recurring network performance issues, so put them in contact with an Account Manager to discuss ways we might be able to help. |
